In the early 1950s, a unique Swedish Dispatch Motorcycle “Prototype” jacket was introduced. Constructed from durable cotton, it was designed as a more economical and practical alternative to traditional leather dispatch jacket. Despite its functionality, it never saw widespread production. Just a few years later, a revised design emerged in forest green cotton, featuring a detachable liner, further improving cost-efficiency and usability.
Only a very limited number of these early grey dispatch jackets were produced, and even fewer remain today. This example is an even rarer hooded variant, with the hood fully integrated into the original design. Pieces like this are exceptionally scarce and very rarely come up for sale.
